Message To Robin, John and the other great guys we met at the clubhouse on the night France beat New Zealand in Cardiff.
Grant, Jam, Kyle and Smiley send their best regards and warmest thanks for a wonderful night which started quietly at your really impressive clubhouse and ended at "Sea View Arms" on the short cut home. Trinidad Northern Rugby Football Club send their best regards and hope to pursue a relationship with your club possibly with an invitation to tour our twin island Republic sometime in the near future. I'll have Jam arrange further communications on thsi and start some dialogue towards that end. It was a great experience visiting your clubhouse and it gave us some good insight into how our new clubhouse might be developed.
Please give John our sincerest thanks for having driven us into Cardiff the following morning and let Robin and his wonderful wife know how much we appreciated their hosptitality. I'll keep in touch through this guest book for now but in the meantime I would appreciate if you could pass on my email address for Robin and John to touch base with me directly. You may also want to point me in the right direction for the appropriate parties with whom we could enter into dialogue on a possible tour once our clubhouse is completed hopefully sometime next year.
Best regards and much success with your club's continuity and future aspirations.
Roger Galt

Message Needed

1 Head Coach for the ladies team. We are looking for someone who can commit to train us on a Monday night from 6:30-8:00 pm. We have been lucky to be coached by some great guys over the past year but we really need a steady coach to develop us.

We also need a forwards coach who can give a good level of commitment.

If anyone is interested in the roles please see Silva or Anna. I'm sure the club would support you in developing your coaching skills if you can commit.

Thanks
Anna

Message Just a discussion point…..

Why is it that the WRU are searching for yet another overseas coach???

In the past this process, while bringing some limited success, Henry, Hansen, Johnson have done no better job than our home-grown talent…..Ruddock is the only coach in recent history to deliver.
Surely the processes put in by Henry & Hansen should be bearing fruit now??? The players in the current squad are remember the youngsters giving the opportunity by our kiwi mentors.
Not only do they not hang around long enough to see a job complete…all three of the overseas coaches mentioned have just failed with their respective nations in the world cup. The New Zealand contingent in particular should receive in harsher assessment considering the pool of players at their disposal!! If they cannot succeed with players such as Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Carl Haymans, Jerry Collins…… how can the WRU expect them to succeed with the likes of Adam Jones!
The problem is a much greater issue than the men in the corridors of power at Golate House and the Millennium Stadium realise, or clearly understand. The problem lays with…. The people making these decisions have clearly got on wrong on countless occasions in the past….I open for questions, or even better, answers from the floor….
This topic could apply to many a club in Wales, in particular the point of who is pulling the strings and just how effective are they in their occupied role. Just look at our own committees promises made only 3 months previous….more club events???
THIS IS NOT A STONE THROWING exercise and is not intended to be so, these are serious points of consideration for those who hold the game of rugby football in Wales and Llantwit Major close to our very souls.

Let the debate begin…….

Message Good to see a winning start to the season. well done DC and the boys hope you keep it up. Shame to see all the *****off the field still going on though.
I dont remember seeing any of the people doing all the bitching and stirring off the pitch down the club coaching nearly everyday of the week, giving up there time to develope the youth of the club like micky did.

Message Contrary to yet another false rumour aimed at discrediting myself, please be aware that the welsh guards had to cancel the fixture for the 25th of August due to work commitments. Both teams have been aware of this fixture for the last 4 weeks. This was not an act of retribution from micky spillane, after all what would i have to feel aggrieved about? I continue to wish the team all the best for the season as anyone that knows me would agree.
